ANTENATAL - Contact the doctor or nurse.

INFANT VACCINATION - See immunisation timetable.

TRAVEL VACCINATION - Practice nurse will advise all patients. Please make contact a month before departure.

OCCUPATIONAL VACCINATION - Eg, hepatitis A & B and tetanus. Contact the practice nurse.

INFLUENZA VACCINATION - During the Autumn we run an influenza prevention clinic. It is recommended that patients suffering from certain diseases, such as heart and chest disease, are immunised. The aim is to prevent people who would be particularly vulnerable to the flu virus becoming ill. AIl those over the age of 65 should be vaccinated. This is a yearly vaccine.

PNEUMONIA VACCINATION - This is recommended for those with chronic heart and chest disease. It is particularly recommended for those who have had their spleen removed, have kidney or immune problems or diabetes. One vaccination is usually enough for lifelong protection.

MINOR SURGERY - Including warts and verrucae, stitching, cyst removal and ingrown toenail removal. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

ORTHOPAEDIC - Neck and back manipulation and joint injections.

WELL WOMAN CLINIC - BY APPOINTMENT - including cervical smears.

ASTHMA CLINIC - Monthly with the asthma nurse - by appointment only.

DIETICIAN - Monthly - BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

DIABETES CLINIC - Monthly - BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
